Ok ok, enough nice talk. A site was compromised, and this means war.
Starting with getting rid of the OS that has, I suspect, let me down.
Then there’s applying SSL on the server, and applying a few tricks here and there to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
On one hand it’s a sign that the sites are influential enough so much as to necessitate the surreptitious and nearly unremarkable manner said attack was performed.
On the other it’s a violation of something I dearly love and own, and if I catch the motherfucker who did it I’ll tear his heart out.
Whatever. Damage done. Lesson learned. Moving on.
